Cuba Cafe Manchester |
Hidden away in the Norhern Quarter, near to Lammars and close to Piccadilly, Cuba Cafe is a small bar and club with capacity for 150 people. With all its old radios, pictures and instruments from the 1940s & 50s, it really has the feel of being abroad - it really is like being in Cuba! |
Cuba Cafe has a distinct charm and warm friendly character like no other club in Manchester and, as a result, the people that visit the bar are mature and have a sense of culture, appreciating the authenticity of the club. |
Cuba Cafe is also famous for being the bar in which Coldplay played their first gig. |
Due to the location of Cuba Cafe, it tends to attract people that want to feel safe away from the hustle and bustle of young drunken revellers. |

"If there's one bar in town we'd like to keep a secret, it's Cuba Cafe - our favourite bar in Manchester! This hidden away ultra friendly backstreet gem, with its massive collection of Cuban memorabilia, is so unique you forget that you're in Manchester. With a soundtrack of Sam Cooke, The Gypsy Kings, Paul Simon, Chic, the Jackson 5, Dolly Parton or the theme tune to Sesame Street, this is 'feel good' defined!" ~ ManchesterBars.com (October 2010) |
