Manchester Northern Quarter Restaurant - reader comments

Trusted Reviewer "As one of Manchester's finest places to dine, the Northern Quarter Restaurant sits happily within its fashionable surroundings. A relaxing, modern restaurant that offers wonderful Modern European and British cuisine. Each dish is so beautifully presented, chef Jason Wass and his team could work in an art gallery. The service is very professional, the staff are very knowledgable and friendly, whilst the decor is simple yet sylish and the view of the stunning 150 year old market gates opposite adds to the ambience. This is one restaurant you certainly should try!"- rob, Manchester Restaurants 24/2/08 (visited on a thursday lunch)

Trusted Reviewer "The Northern Quarter Restaurant has to be one of, if not the best restaurants in the NQ. Excellent food, attentive friendly staff, lovely decor and a great view of the old market gates outside. The Express Lunch menu is really good value and the Black Pudding, Poached Egg and Hollandaise sauce is excellent! I could eat that every day! You have to pay a visit to this quaint restaurant, thumbs up from me!" - nick, stockport 31/1/08 (visited on a weds afternoon)

"Last visited over a year ago, still very good. Our friends, who joined us, where very impressed. TNQ were busy all night and seemed to cope with ease. Won't be waiting another year before I return. Nice cocktails too!" - david coote, sale 19/11/08 (visited on a saturday evening)

"Food was great value but if we'd got there 30 minutes earlier (7pm) we could have had 2 courses for £9.95 which is stupidly good value. Window seats are the best." - ruth spinks, manchester 29/5/07 (visited on a weds evening)
