"The
boss pulled us in at the door and said he will give us 20% student
discount. After that, when the bill finally comes, he ordered his
waiter to tell us that the discount only applies to orders £25
and above. We felt so cheated." -

"One
of the better restaurants in Rusholme. The food is
very good quality - the Lamb Haandi extremely tasty - and
the service, very friendly - they did everything
they could to make sure we were more than comfortable. Good
value for money too. Whilst, like most Rusholme restaurants,
a paint job wouldn't go a miss, the decor is still
bright and inviting - the paintings of Paris seem out of place though.
I would definitely revisit."

"We
visited Gogi's after reading the reviews on this site....if this is
the best one on the site reading the reviews I'm not going to rush
back to Rusholme...We asked for a wine list and they brought a random
bottle of white wine, so we asked again for the wine list and there
didnt seem to be one. It was supposed to be fully licensed. We just
had beers instead. The food was nice but the rice
was not good at all... Overall an ok place but not worthy
of the 5 stars some people have given." -

"Second
visit for us. Really nice food. Very friendly
and helpful staff despite having to cope with four, well
dressed but rather graceless local young men who ran out laughing
after eating the popadum and pickle tray. The owner still had the
time, kindness and care to help a man with learning difficulties cross
the road." -

"I
usually go to Shaandaar restaurant but for some reason it has shut
down, when I walked past it, I saw a notice saying that the manager
has gone to Shahenshah, so I thought let's try it. Khan was there
and I was greeted by him. I tried it but didn't like the food, so
I asked him where the chef had gone, which he told me Blackburn. Anyway,
after I paid, I was walking down the the road and bumped in to Shaandaar's
chef (as a regular at Shaandaar, I know the staff pretty good). Anyhow
he told me he hasn't gone to Blackburn and he is working in Gogi's
now. The next week I went to Gogi's, was greeted very nice by the
waiter. I asked him if Mr Shah was working, which he notified him
and I recieved a nice welcome by Mr Shah. I ordered our food and it
was totally unbelievable, my Mum was really impressed
cause it was exactly like we used to have in Shaandaar.
The staff was nice and attentive. We will def be
going to Gogi's from now on" -

"I
was down with my family from Scotland as my brother lives in Partington.
He recommended this restaurant and I seriously thought it was amazing.
The food was of incredible quality and the waiters
made us feel very, very welcome and that nothing was a problem.
From the starters to the end it was a fantastic experience.
Next time im visiting my brother Im definetly going back. 10/10"
