Lal
Haweli Restaurant Rusholme Manchester - reader comments

"Many
thanks to the head waiter who took our order and even
made some recommendations for us!. We're no strangers
to Asian food but there were so many dishes
to choose from we just couldnt make our minds
up. They even made us some Jeera Rice at our request
even though it wasnt on the menu which was a real nice
touch" -
Mark, Warrington 14/12/07 (visited on a Thursday evening)

"I
went there and enjoyed my time. i think this restaurant
is the best in Rusholme. If u like
curry, then u will love it here! My friends like to
go to Hawely after partying because there u can eat
real food, not just decorations. Very friendly
staff!" -

"This
is a great restaurant that serves excellent
curry. Consistency of the korma sauce
was perfect not runny like some curry houses.
We love the fact you have round tables for larger
celebrations so that every one can talk to
each other easily. The decor is just right
- not pretencious! friendly atmosphere
and excellent value for money which
is something that keeps people we know coming back because
the food remains great even at good prices!! We stumbled
across it one night three years ago and since then Haweli
has been the Curry house of our choice numerous birthdays
family gatherings etc have been spent there!" -
Steve Harwood, Manchester - 23/3/07 (visited on a Friday
evening) |

"Very
nice food, if you want a cheap evening you
can bring your own alcohol in! Free
popadoms and sauces at the beginning of the
meal!" -

"I
go to Lal Haweli regularly and always have a great time,
good food and friendly service, decided
to review it today to make sure you all visit. The waiters
are really friendly but not in your face, and
the food is really cheap. We took
our own booze (no charge to open it) and used
a snapfax for student discount. We were all absolutely
stuffed and only paid £7 each. You have to try
it!!!" -
Lisa Wright, Manchester 2/5/06 (visited on a Saturday

"The
food is superb, I had the nicest chicken
bhuna I have had in a long time. Have been on several
occasions and will be going again in the next few days.
The staff are friendly and attentive
and is value for money" -
Laura, Liverpool - 10/2/06 (visited on a Saturday evening)
