"My
Mum and I visit Manchester every year for a good old shopping trip,
We always go to Gio's Restaurant, It truely is a fab restaurant.
The waiters always remember us every time we go in from year to
year and have a great welcome for us. The last time the restaurant
owner came to our table and gave us complimentary drinks and garlic
bread on the house. The whole dining experience is so relaxed.
No matter how many people are waiting for tables, you are never
rushed or told you must be out for a certain time. We always end
up in this restaurant every night we are in Manchester you
really cant beat it for good food, wine, service and atmosphere."

"When
I originally booked the table, I was asked for a time. As we were
going to the Bridgewater Hall, I said, " Oh, 5.30, 6 o'clock."
"Fine" was the response. We arrived at the restaurant
just before six to be told by the surly man at the desk that he
had let our table go as we were late. No apology. No alternative.
We went round the corner to Don Giovani's, where the service was
excellent, the ambience was Italian and the food was delicious.
So if you are going to the Bridgewater and are looking for a good
handy restaurant, just walk past Gio and turn right into Oxford
Street. Don Giovani's is just on the right."

is a really pleasant restaurant for pre theatre/Bridgewater
- the service, food and price were excellent. I'd
recommend it and will certainly return."
