Japanese Restaurant Manchester - reader comments
"The
hostess was quite rude on arrival. We were kept waiting a couple of
minutes and then sat us in a waiting area for 30 minutes even though
there was plenty of space available and we had pre-booked a table.
A group of 6 who arrived just moments before us were sat straight
away. When the drinks came they were given to the wrong people (there
were only two of us). When food was ordered, it was prepared quickly
by a friendly Phillipino chef (sadly not Japanese), and was fine,
but nothing special. Beef was cooked to our tastes. Unfortunately,
in comparison with many other similar style restaurants, the
menu was limited, particularly the side order menu. Overall,
an edible meal. Would not go back again, not at all worth
the money charged!"

"Very
friendly staff, attentive. I have been there many times and
they are the friendliest staff by far! Having the chefs cook
your food infront of you gives it that little bit of an edge compared
to other restaurants. Definately recommended!"

"The
staff were a little stiff at times but they were very polite and helpful
and didn't complain even when 3 out of 5 of our party only had drinks.
The chef cooked our hot food at our table and it was wonderful.
Very nice atmosphere, would definitely go there again
and I recommend the sushi!"
