"Great
retaurant. Great food. I really liked their
food especially the Tajeen and Kebab, the best kebab in Rusholme.
Staff are very friendly and the over all service
is very good. If you like like to try Moroccan food then Marmara is
the place to go. A+"

"I
had the buffet and was confused as your previous reviewer as what
to do - For a buffet they didn't have much choice
of food. I had only had pork, chicken and pasta. The chicken was nice
but as the previous reviewer says, the pork was cheap meat
and not very nice. The pasta was very soft and nice but a
bit too cold. This is an average restaurant
- seems like 'home-cooked' food. The staff were friendly but
non-existent. When we paid the bill the owner or manager
rounded up the amount - our dishes were £6.99 each but he charged
us £7 - 1p isn't much but I found it quite rude"

"As
far as Middle Eastern Buffet restaurants go, this is the best I've
tried so far - even better than the likes of Efes Taverna in the city
centre. The choice of dishes was fantastic and at
£6.95 for as much as you can eat, extremely good value
for money. Emphasis is on family diners
with a Children's play area, including slide and Wendy House, keeping
the kids entertained. I opted for the Moroccan Lemon Chicken with
Olives, cooked and served in a traditional tagine (clay cooking pot).
It was very tasty although the chicken was more bone
than meat and, like the lamb my partner went for, not exactly
a good quality cut of meat - something I've come to expect
in Rusholme. Service was also confusing - our waiter didn't speak
good English and just appeared to answer every question with a 'yes'
whilst it wasn't clear how you ordered from the buffet and what you
got for a la carte. Clearer instructions would have been nice. In
the end, we had to get up and ask somebody. The waiters seemed more
interested in watching the widescreen Arabic TV than serving customers.
All in all, if you don't like curry, then Marmara offers a
great alternative on the Curry Mile."

"There
was a place for the children to play, the children
were so happy and left me to have my meal"

"It's
a good restaurant. Friendly staff
and new ideas for families with children where they can eat and
their children play. It's nice." -
